Good news for all you painters
« on: April 15, 2008, 12:38:52 am »
We will be releasing a new SJ car pack for GT-Legends fairly soon.  We want to work some of these new masterpieces into the rotation.  :gtg:

Keep an eye out for packs for additional sims as well.

Oh, that's a pleasant surprise.  I thought there was no more painting being done for GTL.  Would it be too late to request a car?  If it's too late it's no biggie, just thought I'd ask.

I do not believe it's too late.  But I can't paint.  So that'll be up to these other guys. :)

In that case I need a car in the TC-65 class.  I can't ask you guys to do anymore work for me though.  Maybe this will be the first car I paint.

Which car in the 65 class has the best template to work with?

If its not too much, I'd like a car painted too. I don't have one yet for GTL. Anyone one of those Porsches would be nice! :)

hehe   I'm not sure I do that much anymore.  Been feeling like a stick in the mud lately.  But if you have a moment I'd like to take you up on your offer. :)

How about a Mustang with Utah flavor?  Maybe the attached Utah flag on the roof over dark blue, and then something to parallel the Utah Jazz Mustang in the other picture on the rest of the car in light blue?  Unless you think it'll look horrid.  That was the only picture I could find of the Jazz car.  :(  Sorry I couldn't provide a better one.

If my idea won't work out well then I leave it up to your creativity. :gtg:

Cool... thanks Jeff.  I'd like a Mini with a fairly simple paint job, something that looks like an old rally car (not yellow, or red), with P.Enqvist and a Finnish flag on the side windows like rally cars have, www.simjunkies.org at the top of the windshield (visible backwards from the inside of the windshield hopefully), a white roof, and a few small subtle sponsor logos (see attached).  Hopefully the pics aren't too small... I couldn't find any bigger.

Can we make sure that my lovely car has the SJ, and RSP logos as well? :)

She is all done, my friend.... will set u and all up with a link later, time for bed now......

P.S.

The side windows are mirrored, so as far as I know, there is no way to tag the windows, so I did the the Windscreen and rear window for ya......

Oooo, very nice Jeff!  Thanks!  I love the green.  That's too bad that you can't put anything on the side windows, I didn't know about that.  Do you think it might be possible to put the name on the side of the car below the rear side windows then instead of the windscreen and rear?  And perhaps lose the red polka dots.  If not, it's no big deal.  The car looks great, and I really appreciate your effort.  Thanks again!

I am painting for GTL and think a couple of my cars are in the SJ Pack perhaps... so if you want one let me know and I will get going on it and if for some reason it doesn't suit your fancy there is the wonderful recycle bin  :)

I've just ordered Jarkko to make me a paintjob for 100 dollars in server donations.

I think he'll do it for free anyways.. but i gotta have some reason to charge the creditcard again this coming month.
