view hud in cockpit?

Hi
I've checked the .PLR files and don't seem to be able to find the line to allow HUD to be on in the cockpit

I'm new to GTL so I could be doing something daft :innocent:

Imay be mistaken but i thought it was one of the # keys by default to turn hud on/off no ??

yep there is definitely a line in the .plr file - allow HUD in cockpit.  It is under Graphics... then as T says use one of the number buttons to turn it on and off - can't remember but it might be 2 key?  :?:

It's in there mate.  Just go to Edit>Find (with your PLR open in notepad, obviously) and search for Allow HUD in cockpit.

Change it from 0 to 1 and you're done.

This isn't the one that gives you HUD in cockpit view.

Either turning off the engine or pitting might work better then just gazing at the dials m8...  :biggrin: good luck with it.

yep still running out of fuel even with a fuel guage now in the cockpit (what a muppet)
havn't got to grips with GTL yet,

I've even given ppl pushes to the pits so they could refuel midrace...

just dont hit escape instantly when it happens and a kind soul will probably give ya one too  (unless yer on T3 of lemans... then ya GOTTA hit the esc button as the pushin will take ALL race!
