New computer, reinstall GTL questions

Distinguished SJ racers :twit:,

I recently upgraded my computer and had the silly idea that I could just archive my existing GTL directory, and copy it all back after I got the new setup running.

Well, that didnt seem to work, GTL wants to to do a reinstall (I assume this because it is asking me for my CD key).

I would like to keep all my mods/patches/tracks/SJ car pack and not have to start from ground zero.

Any ideas on a procedure to follow?

Are you running the game by CD or using the no CD patch? If using the patch, try launching the game from CD, it should prompt you to put in the CD Key, then you can go back to the patch for no CD.

Well, I finally got around to it again and just put in the CD key and it was all back to normal with all previous setups.

When I saw the CD key prompt I figured it was for a reinstall :dunno:  Oh well.
