HELP! Can not connect to lobby

HELP! Last nite after the lobby went down during Alfatina and though I could hear on Vent everyone else was logging back in, I still get can't connect to lobby error. During the down, I loaded the disscnnect patch from here, but by time we were trying that, the lobby came back up. So I came back in normally, but still error. Then I tried un-installing the patch, no dice. GTR-Evo, GTR2 & rFactor work fine and Vent was still working and can get here. Tried loading an older GTL game folder from my backup HDD, but it won't connect either. Need some help from the brains, please! :?:

Ha I remembered: Host files. There is a listing that shouldn't be.

Yes. Says can't connect to server.

Checked & mine has: Host IP Address=""
                             Online Server="GTL_SERVER.txt"

UPDATE: I moved my GTL folder to my back up drive & did a fresh install & still couldn't connect using my name & password or trying to register a new name, just keeps saying can't connect to server. CRAP! :grrr: Also deleted cookies & internet temps too.

It is your LM Host files. Hang on

Edit: Not lm hosts but host:

On mybox:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Should have nothing other than{ 127.0.0.1       localhost}

If not what Dee said, possibly a port or program is blocked by firewall somewhere...
