GTL user name and password

Hello everybody,
I have a headache with gtl... i recently upgraded lots of stuff on my comp, including my mobo and now i have re-installed gtl, patched it to v1.1 and installed the SJ carpack, so far so good. My problem is i have always used the same username/on track nickname in all my games, and the same password for that matter. Now for some reason with gtl it wont let me get online with my registered name etc... keeps saying invalid username and password... and if i just try and re-register my name it tells me the name is in use ( yeah by me you stupid ****) Any ideas would be very much appreciated as i dont wanna drop a name ive raced with for 2 or 3 years  :salute:

Potentially useless suggestion, but would it work if you entered your username with a space character (not as in Jetsons) behind it?

Jetsons  rotfl rotfl I thought about that one... but i like to have the same name in all my racing sims... I might just drop the GPI and create a new name profile for em all...

Good luck Steve, from experience 'dead horse' 'flogging' and 'waste of time' are words that some up my feelings. My copy of GTR is still gathering dust due to lack of customer support  :cry:

PS: i know Steves problem is with GTL but the senario is exactly the same as my GTR problem(there you go Petey  ;) )
