-While driving through a left/right kink between two corn fields, you start planning on building a street legal F1 car so you can blast through it like it isn't there....
-When you go to make a right-hand turn and a guy behind you passes you 'cause he's an impatient SOB, you begin to think about said F1 car again......
-On winding country roads, you've gotten used to apexing corners 20mph above the speed limit when there's no cars in the other lane.
-You try to teach yourself Heal/Toe in your brother's Corolla so you won't lose an ounce of speed while getting on the tollway.
-You find yourself left-foot braking in all Automatic transmission vehicles you drive.
-You wonder why the FFB on real cars doesn't feel anything like rFactor/GTR2/GTL.......

Had to revive this after just now....

---when you're driving home from the store in the REAL car and you look at your wife and seriously say:

"Jesus, 2pm already and I haven't had a chance to do any driving today!"

Then it dawns on both of us what I just said and what I'm currently doing and we start giggling wildly as we get the irony of the statement!

Thanks Frank. Emily is always asking me how you're doing. she's a good kid. When we said that if we ever went to Britain that the Netherlands weren't that far away to visit, Miss Em asked. "Would we be able to visit Steiny and Tysie?" lol
And they still keep asking when we're going to have Stamppot.

hahhaaha...

well.. as far as i can remember (nope.. never made it myself)   you need carrots, unions and potatoes...

just cook em all, sliced and diced... then hammer the pot (with a big graty thing, looks someone like the gates on a six speed gearbox, but then one iron mold..)   .... squeezing everything together... that's stamppot.

but ya gotta have a certain sausige with it (preverably Hema-worst... but that's personal.. hahaha)

Yeah, we had it. MiLady made it back when Tysie helped Miss Em with a school project. They want to do it again one day. They are also addicted to Stroopwafel.

MiLady is addicted to but she's half Dutch, says it explains her love for Tulips! lol

(I bought her a bunch today)

I honestly thought I saw a sniper on a rooftop today, and I was 20m away from the nearest cover. Luckily it didn't see me even tho I was wearing a hi-vis jacket. Probably cos it was a chimney :| :salute:

-When you are driving in a real car and feel the back end stepping out, you know exactly what to do to prevent disaster
-Keeping your foot off the throttle and letting the ppl infront of you just drive away so you can floor it some through a couple of winding corners that you know are coming up, watching for opposit traffic not beeing around and drive your ideal lines...
-When flooring it through a damn nice chicane (road between Terschuur and Barneveld) and braking late, you feel the backend getting light and know exactly that you are ON the edge on that one... felt good... dont tell the missus...

yes.. i had a lovely drive back from work yesterday... found out the colt does 6000 revs in 3rd which means as much as 130kph... love that car!  (but you just feel powerloss/less torque after 5000 rpm ).  and yes.. i was a bad boy for those "few" miles...

Problem is I can do almost anything with a real car, reverse Jturns, bootlegs, etc (Got a copy of Hooper yesterday and as we're watching it wife says "NOW I know where you learned to drive!!") but I still suck at driving sims!! Hahahaaa...

Well.. dunno if i posted this, but the colt had new front wheels, yet the back end was sat on the old ones, i found out the roundabout was a bit slippy on the centrelane (found out a bit too late) so as a can came onto the roundy from the right i lifted a bit, which resulted in the back end stepping out, i just steered against it, but kept my foot on the accelerator to keep the front in check and keep it on the centre lane.... i drifted half a roundabout with a front wheel driven car!    as i saw the exit coming i turned on mi blinker, and throttled outtof the drift.. felt like good fun, but i couldn't wait for my pay to come in to get new rear tires!

-When you're downloading mods for a game you don't even OWN YET!! lol

Wife is on her way to pick me up GTRe and I'm already looking at and downloading mods etc.....

-when you eagerly await that new game but are thinking about how it''ll look when you tear it apart to see how the folders/files/etc are structured!!

SJ has changed the way I look at games forever!! YEEHAW!! :D :rotfl: thumbs up
