System shock 1 is one of my favourites. Was top notch gameplay graphics etc for its day & very addictive. Shodan was voted nastiest puter game chick in a survey a whiles ago too

The original halflife was a goodie too & the game intro still rates as one of the best for me.

Going way back in time to the amiga days , Speedball two was a classic. I wore out at least half a dozen quickshot joysticks playing that game

FPS: COD any best fps ever!

There are heaps of favs with there own likings to them and heaps more that i just can't remember the names of....

Fallout (+Arcanum) series
Jagged Alliance series (something sweeeeet most of ya know nothing about id imagine)
Almost any decent first person shooter, allthough im very picky in that genre nowadays..
Red Orchestra is pretty much only fps game i really dont get bored with fast..
Any good driving game..
Turn based strategy games.

Gotta be the Grand Theft Auto series.

GTA III, GTA VC, GTA SA and GTA LCS.

Then after that probably GTL for pure driving experience, no other game ive played has beaten the feel of the cars.

And while im not a big FPS fan my fav games where Battlefield 2 and RTCW Enemy Territory, both online only.

I'm with KZ ... Speedball II by a long shot in terms of hours spent. For sheer immersion, "Siberia" ... one of the most beautiful games ever constructed in my opinion.

I'm with Small Fryz, the GTA series, i've only seen the topdownversion once (GTA2?!?!) and didn't like that very much, but my best bud was well into that, after that i've seen a 3d environment grow to ultimate performance, and i bet if a new one ever comes out ill be one of the first to buy it.
Controverse or not, it's the kids that shouldn't play it as some have difficulty seperating fantasy from reality, doesn't say 18+ for nothing on the box!

I never got the Liberty City Story's tho, thought it was just a compilation of some sorts, what's it like Fryz? or issit "just" back to liberty city (but then with better graphics and whole new storyline?)

I just do racing sims.

GTL and GPL are the best for me. I think GPL is unsurpassed and GTL physics and the whole atmosphere are just fantastic. Simjunkies has nothing to do with it of course (yeah right!)
I like the feel of GTR2 too but really have to get used to rFactor.

sorry i took long to reply.

GTA LCS is quite fun but its nothing special added from the other GTA's. The map is pretty much the same as GTA III though due to being set before GTA III a few things havnt been completed like the under city tunnels etc. The only reason to play the game is for the story and missions which of course are different. Its fun and i finished that part of the game and had a good time but i did not do all the side stuff to get 100% like i did with GTA VC and GTA SA. The side missions are just the same old stuff. Now i have PS3 i dont play any PS2 games anymore and im just waiting for the next GTA to come out. Ive played the best part of 400+ hours on GTA SA and 150 for GTA VC and about 100 for GTA III and ~50 for GTA LCS. so ive had enough of those games and probably wont play them again. GTA IV however will be another story!.

Tis rather boring on Manhatten tho... hope they put in some roadworks or something as it's 5 or 6 lanes wide.. all one way streets... and straight as our highways. But you will definately find out what the americans mean by "blocks" as in " it's just 2 blocks away"
Hope we can run both ways over/under the rivers, but i'm thinking/guessing they might be following storylines like these here:

I won't and can't give a solid opinion on a game like that but it would surprise me if I would like it. Suggestions are always welcome of couurse, so thanks. By the way, sim racing is not that 'heavy' is it?

Oh I forgot, F1Seven for F1c.
Physics are not at GTL or GPL standards but 1975 and 1974 F1 seasons are special to me, just like the much better driving 1979 for rFactor. I sure hope the make 74 and 75 season for Rfactor once!
That last one is DAMN difficult I think.
Althjough probably to heavy for my rig, the 917 mod that is being made looks the business too and I can't wait to have a go.
I'll go and check what the status of that one is.
My all time favourite car in ALL possible configuratios that were ever produced! Oh-My-God!
And last but not least, I really hope the designers of the 55 F1 cars for GPL will ever finish their mod. BIG Mercs and Auto Unions, go figure!

A lot of the best games I played were on the PS1. These include:

Toca world touring cars - At the time the graphics were awsome and so were the physics and crash damage.

Smackdown 2 - The best part of this game was the create your own wrestler. He can be really fat, skinny or all sorts of proportions which can lead to some hilarious looking characters. You also had literaly hundreds of attacks to give your wreslers and then fight them against ones your friends have made.

Grand theft auto - I was really addicted to this crappy game when I owned my ps1. Spend hours just killing and squashing people. I lost interest in these games now.

G-police - This was an excellent flight sim where you pilot a futuristic attack helicopter equiped with all sorts of weapons from lasers to home-in missiles. If you know where I can download this game for PC please tell me.

Red alert 2 - This is great online but the AI was extremely boring. I mostly played my own custom map that had HUGE amounts of resources because I am too crap to play limited resource maps. You can also have fun witout even playing, create your own map where all the players start very close together or build lots of stuff like nuke silos and oil derricks guarded by millions of defense structures. Observe the fun.

Metal Gear Solid (original ps1) - Best game of its type ever made and none of the sequals even come close to beating it. C4 on guards backs is one of the fun things to do.
