DVD Repair kits.  A few laps in GTL listening to the familiar voices on vent.  Snow.  My awesome Son, the little man makes life new and exciting.

Hope you still feel that way when he's 12 Marcus, cos i could quite happily strangle Jasmine at the moment
:ted:
But as this is 'The Small Blessings Thread' i should also point out that i love her dearly and would be lost if she wasnt here

Making two kids and Daddy happy by taking em on a ride!

I saw them waiting for "the sideloader" from the other end of the street... i thought i'd be nice... get out and let them in the passenger seat.
They have school holiday this week and i'm pretty sure i "made" theyre vacation.. but so did the truck... hahaha  :hats off:

Read this from my phone, but didn't see the pic until now.  lol You are getting softer as the years go on.  Good on you!

I'd have done this a couple times, but my employer would fire me on the spot.  Bunch of knobs they are.

I couldn't bring my best friend either as "it would be an insurance matter if something were to happen"    Like he'd ever leave the cab?! but then again.. i might fall asleep and kill him.. at which time he couldn't claim anything at all either...

anyways.. if my boss sees this he might fire me.. i dont care.. it's good for us sideloader pilots to make ppl in a neighbourhood more aware of "how things work" and especially how we'd like to work.. meaning SAFETY... i'm sure they WONT be standing behind the grabber anymore.. and theyll certainly lecture the other kids in the neighbourhood when they see it happening... and that's my mission done!  It's also good PR... just dont tell that to the boss as i Do love my job, but on the other hand i can get fired and not even worried... seems there's even trucks standing still now due to there not beeing too many drivers.. hahahahaha... so basically i couldn't care less... i was even thinking about a deskjob nearby if i really get tired of this sh*t.... but untill then.. we'll just have to see

and it's not on a daily basis i let ppl in the cab... it's just those "soft" moments.. hehe

**openening a second window to find my translator again...***

Chatising.... cha... chast..... chatises.. chastising.. a here we go:

1.  To punish, as by beating. See Synonyms at punish.
2. To criticize severely; rebuke.
3. Archaic To purify.

option 3 seems to be something as you didn't beat me up yet... critisizing... grinn.. like i'm not used to that.. so ill take option 3.. alllthough that means:....

looking up archaic.....  hmmm

1.  also Archaic Of, relating to, or characteristic of a much earlier, often more primitive period, especially one that develops into a classical stage of civilization: an archaic bronze statuette; Archaic Greece.
2. No longer current or applicable; antiquated: archaic laws. See Synonyms at old.
3. Of, relating to, or characteristic of words and language that were once in regular use but are now relatively rare and suggestive of an earlier style or period.

ill go with option 3 .. as i think Chastising is a word that isn't used that regularly in the english language these days...

so basically.. what we've got here.. in the context i believe it might be in.. (with a bit of humour ofcourse.. if spotted)

you are saying i'm too old to purify?  how dare you!   :oooh:

as i will never be more pure then i am already.. but verbally pure... as in honest  ;)

yep.. confused now.. thx!  :knockout:

and yes.. this is how my brain works.. hahahaha  your turn to understand some dutch next by googling the content!
