The *Small Irritations* thread : Pt.II
« on: October 29, 2007, 11:45:34 am »
Well here's a doozy to kick off the resurrection of the SI thread;
Attack of the Clones

Some bugger has cloned our debit card and has gone on a bit of a spending spree (Google for "WP-STAGECOACH SERV" to see how they operate).

The bank has stopped the card and will refund all the illegal amounts, but here's the kicker ... some silly bint in Northampton has used the card details to order a shedload of fancy shoes and the shoe company has her phone number and address... the phone number is also used in an on-line dating site .. but I guess I'd better not post any details just to keep SJ out of it.
I surely hope the address IS genuine (It points to a grotty street in Northampton via Google Maps) and she receives a visit from the law and a nice long custodial sentence.

Nothings wrong, one guy is having a little breathing time to re-evaluate things, thats all.. no need to dwell in sadness.

I'm a bit in the wilderness at the moment, but I have been talking to Shedz and the way I see it is this......"IT" has got way out of hand......We are here for casual racing....to have a laugh......Not suspend people for "Having a bad attitude on the Forum"

I was having fun here till about 2 mins after getting on the Race07 server yesterday.......I have less stress at work.

I realise I haven't shown my face here realy till the last month or so, but that doesn't make my veiws any less valid.

We are all adults. Thats Lets act like them :(

Yeah.. i know how you must feel.. no one is denying opinions.. but you must agree that no matter who, there has to be some level at which you will bring your opinions known.. the 5 days cooldown was forced on us to give, and all we can now hope that he will think everything again and realises heres many friends waiting for him to come back (im one of em). And i know you have shown your face around more only lately, and i quite like you and hope you will be around more. One of the guys who really has "SJ" spirit in them.

Not sure what it all pertains to, or what you are referencing with "IT", but it is nice to the shared thoughts on the "reason" we are here... Swordy....

Keep in touch, when you can, we know "Life" happens, and may keep us out a while.

Hopefully you have been able to cruise around the forums and see there are LOADS of fellow drivers with your shared thoughts.....

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/7068853.stm

extract from link "to remove white lines from roads"

The system is known as psychological traffic calming, aimed at making drivers slow down and take more care because they are confused.

now this makes me mental, local drivers who know the roads will drive just as fast as before, new drivers/visitors to the area will be all over the place and people on motorbikes don't stand a f*cking chance. The right of way will be the route most travelled and how is a visitor to know that.

On the driving thing......I think every car should have a 10 Inch spike sticking out the stearing wheel......Try driving while on your phone and eating with that now :tut:

Hehe... silly arses :)
... you know the original 'SI' thread went on for six billion pages and never went off topic ... one mention of  pastry based comestibles and the plot is bleeding lost again! :)

Sorry to hear that Pete.  But I am not overly worried for you.   :nose:  A quick witted eloquent speaker such as yourself will not want for anything I'm sure.
