Hahahaha thanks Marcus - but I don't think I'm quite ready to give up on the ol' SJ_Hecta nick... just... yet. I'll be bringing that nick out again for some online updated racing comparison testing soon. When I do just remember - I'm the crash king so... KEEP WELL CLEAR!!!

On a technical note:

I've noticed a few frame rate issues in your vids, are you capturing, editing and exporting at the same frame rate?

Yes you did miss a good 'un - beetles are great fun. And I know what you have to go through to use a computer when there's kids around. I used to get that with my son...

Son: "How much longer? - you've been on there all day, DAD!"
Me: "Have not, it's only been... 8 hours!" hahaha You might have to invest in a second computer. :biggrin:

And Ray, I think I'm a veeeerrryyyy llloooooonnnggg llooooonnggg way from that 'alien tag'. But, I won't rule it out before I turn 65 at least.

Ian, I'm not sure what the frame rate thingie prob is - It only seems to do it in the one program (might be an old codec maybe) but, I like the quality & the compression of the vid better than the other program. But I'll keep playing with the other program untill I find a quality I'm happy with.

Nice vid Jeff. hehe. Although I had a temporary lead, Riven won by a mile when a certain Aussie who shall remain Hec, made a certain bollocks joke on comms which caused a certain driver to drive off an uncertain track repeatedly due to fits of laughter! I'll get you for that!

As for the mysterious lack of race finishers, your video explains it all. The attached screenshot plainly shows Birmingham GP is infested with a particularly nasty local fauna with an appetite for wayward Caterhams. Only through brilliant driving and a willingness to sacrifice our fellow racers to the hills of Alabama were Riven, PDSM, and myself able to escape to the finish relatively unscathed.
