HA!  lol

Since last week, Thursday, I have done 85Km (52m) on my bike, I take the youngest to school every morning on it, and pick her up if I'm not working, go to the shops, the out-laws house, and just for fun too! I'd seriously miss it if it went, and would love to have the cash to get a new one...

Well I didn't want to let it go.  I just need some fast cash.  lol  I figured I might as well have something to show for all the time and money it took to get those tools.  That's where the bike comes in.

I wish I could have both!

Well I got a bike for my girl friend for her birthday today, I know it is very pink, but it is the only way I could get her to ride bikes with me.

And no, she is not 8, she turned 26!

That bike is a sweet cruiser.  :)  You better post some pics of you two out riding together!

Well I finally got a bike.  It's not what I had on layaway though.  I have no cash, so I just got something with what I had already invested.

2009 Diamondback Response

It's not anywhere near the bike I wanted.  It does seem fairly sturdy.  I plan on riding it this year, and once I get back on my feet, I'll step up to the Giant XTC 1 I had my eye on from the get go.

I have had it a few days, and done my best to beat the hell out of it.  I am planning on hitting the trail this weekend.

I'm guessing this picture is of a medium or small, because my frame makes the tires look small. lol I had to go with the XL.  Anyway once I have it out someplace worth photographing, I'll post some pictures.

Well done Marcus, looks like a good one,

get out and shred those trails (I think that's how you colonials put it)  :D

spend some time getting the saddle position right... makes a big difference

Nice one Marcus, hoping to get out into the peak district on mine in next few weeks, don't get out as much as I would like due to family work etc.

Rockrider 6.3 with addition of Simano hydraulic disks best money I spent.

Keep us posted. :hats off:

I like this video, and it makes me very jealous.

Here in Utah, you are looked at as a handicap if you are cruising on a bike.

The city where bikes' everywhere, going green? starts from biking!!

Had a great morning.  Got up early, and met up with a friend.  We rode from my town, to the capital of Utah, Salt Lake City.  We rode through SLC, and visited some friends.  I managed to get a flat tire with no visible puncture.  Walked the bike four blocks to a bike shop.  Replaced the tube out on the street, and then hopped the train back to our town.  Rode from the station back to the car.

We met a ton of people.  It was actually a really enjoyable morning.

Now I get to go water skiing.  I don't know if biking before skiing was a good idea.  My legs are spent!  lol

Seems like a lot of fun Marcus  :)

I also managed a flat without visual puncture a few weeks ago, however I had a little accident the day before :)
