HeatCAN Equipped
« on: May 25, 2009, 07:33:16 pm »
Some have asked me to post this, but am finally getting around to it.

:)  This is my HeatCAN (turbo) equipped WRX.

Here are the mods:

2.0 liter replaced w/ STi 2.5 engine
Walbro HP fuel pump
Performance chip custom tuned via dyno
w/ 2 settings, adjustable in cockpit (up to 16psi boost)
over 230 Ft. Lbs of torque at only 3200 rpms
APS turboback Exhaust
DBS slotted rotors w/ stainless lines
Prodrive racing springs
Exedy racing flywheel and clutch
Euro headlights w/HID lighting kit

A ton o' fun here on the mountain roads.  Also attached, pics of a recent road trip. You can see in the last pic that it's not all tight curves.  Time to 'open it up'!!
Pics of my FZ750 later.

 ;)

I didn't understand all the tech stuff, but I do understand that you have crammed it all into a great looking, svelte machine.

If anybody can.... :)

Bread man, I think Bug Dude chickened out.  Just 'cause he lives 1000's of miles from the track! Jeeez.  He wants to race the cars on R-factor, he he.

I'll let you know when I head out there, as I am currently saving up my money.  Should be a blast!

You need to try a hillclimb with that ride. Those things (and Evos) have taken over the hills we run. http://kalescustom.com/ This the guy that beat me last year. Builds a real nice rollcage. For you Mitz guys-here is another runner with us-took King of the Hill at the last hillclimb.  http://www.dentsport.com/

I wanna hear about the FZ750! :excited: In '84 I got to take one out of the crate and install a factory Yamaha road race kit into it. (a $4500 kit going into a $ 5000 motorcycle!  :hmm: ) Straight from Japan-and had to know someone to get it.  :D  Everything from all new transmission + clutch-to larger valves  to all new suspension + wheels.

Sounds good, my friend.  What will you be driving?

Thanks for the links, Sherman.  Very cool.  I'll post up the FZ750 this weekend.  I can only imagine how sweet that one was that you built.

the late april early may.. or late september early october... hmm... you think i mind hurricane/tornadoes?   well ok.. flying towards them isn't good i suppose... but honestly, why these dates?

I'll only be your backseat drivinginstructor Heatcan, dont do it! hahaha

Dunki, very nice looking sled.  A few years newer than mine, but yes, I love both of them!  I am going for the low profile look though to avoid the fuzz, if you know what I mean.  hee hee.   lol
