DCS Black Shark - Training this Saturday!

Major Cato Goodwood II has agreed to host a few training missions this Saturday.  Since there isn't a GTL race, we figured now would be a good time to get some seat time in on DCS.  If you have wanted to step up to 'full reall' flight settings now is your chance.  Cato will walk you through starting the chopper, arming the weapons, and attacking targets.  If you are a competent pilot, come along and show us how it's done.


Go get these and print them up if you haven't already.

Cato want to run us through what keys we might want to bind before we get together?

Also what time works for you OSJ guys?  I was thinking sometime between 1400 and 1600 GMT.  Of course that is up to Cato too.  I'm just here to announce it.

If I am using GMT times then it would suit me at 1930-2000 GMT for start.
Yes I can give you the buttons you need to MAP and the rest you only use headmovement and mouse to click. IF you do not have Trackingdevice then it might be a bit ahrder but we will set you up before even taking off.

I can tell you all how to set up the chopper fully armed and hot before taking off.

Full realism, but with labels on. With those off even I cannot see the targets proper yet, but will fix that as well later.

i am game for this as long as wifey does not tell me otherwise on a sat evening.

Kewl.. i cannot print anything atm.. and ink is bit too expensive to get.. but eventually ill get em printed. :)
I can get up in the air, get the weapons to work.. but im big noob.
Havent even tried anything but full real.

I betcha my 2x 7.7 mm machineguns and my 2x 20 mm cannons will hopefully be able to dent your landinggear when i shoot them at you from my trusty Zero...




oh.. wrong game..


so.. all the non-DCS'ers form up on me?     for either some Il2 or RoF.. if enough are interested? (i might not have the ports set up correctly for il2 though.. but can be fixed in minutes... just need someone to test for me by joining in.

Sorry, but that heater called engine in the front of you there is to easy to target. :)

Muahaha.. My radialengine will spin windly as i'm zooming  in and out of your sights before you've even THOUGHT of firing up your arsenal of pocketrockets and flares.... i bet you've even got a good sizzle/fizzle on board for displays at say... hey wait.. i got it..
yep.. your helo is poifect for new years celebrations... specially when it's sitting on the ground, all burning with a pilot singed whilst his finger is still about to push a button to start the damned thing up.

I'll be up for some rof or il-2. Not got DCS yet, and can't really justify another full price game atm when I barely have time to play everything else lol Maybe when the price reduces :P
