I'm just on the cusp of finishing my first ever FPS .. Max Payne 2 ... last night (this morning) trying to shoot some couplings from a suspended platform thing with a tonne of dynamite being thrown at me .. I would have thought that at 5am after a couple of bottles of wine it would have been easy ... seems not :)

Max Payne 2... now that is a great game!

2nd that.

Stalker was pretty darn good for what they finally published. Shit my pants quite a few times when zone beasts snuck up on me.  Really like survival aspects of it where you have to scrounge for ammo and such, pick what you carry or be overburdened, use your weapon sparingly or it starts to jam and become less accurate.

The prequel Clear Sky is coming out "soon" and should be better yet as they're putting in a lot of features they had to drop from the first one due to time constraints.

Got both "Max Paynes", gotta shoot the pins from their edges then run before Val stuffs your shorts with his firecrackers, you are very close to the finish line. GL.
