Wow, 1.77Gb I know it'll be worth it but bloody 'ell demo's are now bigger than games from 2 years ago.

I'm not much for FPS either. . .but gosh, this suit is FUN! I want one!! The environment is very nice, I can't wait for the future simulations that might incorporate such scenery. . .the sun filtering through the trees and those little glints off the leaves. . .puuurrty.

Yes this is about to be shown as the very best of FPS games to come.

Dunno, but maybe the wait is worth it.
The new way of tactical thinking using the suit is very nice.

Waiting for the game now.
I recommend using hardest settings when playing here. you will get much much more out of the game, and you will never ever try to run out in the open hoping to survive Rambo style.

well, very nice I must say. Very farcry, but that was great anyway. Even my old ATI X800 runs it smoothly. I will now sit back and wait for the full game to appear with much anticipation (as well as farcry 2)

yes, crysis sp demo is awesome, preordered it already.
I actually installed windows vista on my other partition just to be able to run it with the DirectX 10 features enabled...  o: it looked even better...

It is truly awesome -the next wave has arrived!

Just had to post a pic of what explosions look like - they 'bow out' and then 'bow in' if you follow me here...

Doing weights with the drill press - great fun once you've strengthened up - just throw and destroy everything in front of you!

Don't forget to check out the sandbox editor guys :jawdrop:

It is very good indeed.
And i must repeat, play it on highest difficulty.
Take your time and get into it. you will find it much more fun when you do.

Use the cloak device a lot, and you might be able to get trhough the whole thing like a real covert agent.
It is a damn DAMN fine demo, and the game should be absolutely cracking.

Here are some mods to get many of the DX10 "Very High" features even if you are running XP:

Youngest son (12) has finished this... pretty, demanding of machinery and fairly short.  Some innovations, but an expensive demo in my opinion (like CoD4)

BTW, my son is known by the moniker Body_Count online, and if you meet him, you're going down!  (pretentious li'l bleeder, with his one handed typing mocking you, while blowing your brains out!)

If Shite is right, looks like they have done wrong after Far Cry.. since that one was excellent lenghty game with great graphics!

Tried this demo.. i actually can run it.. but i wont be buying until i have proper pc and the price is down.

Have not finished it, but have a few things to say anyway.

Lenght i do not know, Graphics are awesome when you can turn it up, and you need to to give the game some justice.
Playability is good and cool, but Shite is right if it is like COD4. even though a simply fantstic game you sit back when done and wish for twice the level amount given.

it seems as though every new FPS is getting very short... i have a PS3 and the games are real short now... i suppose with the time they spend on insane graphics and such give them less time to get another few levels in the game...i think the consumers are more interested in multiplayer online so theyre giving less attention to the campaign modes...

I have tried this demo and im playing it on easy....
I find it hard to kill those enemies...
But the graphic is very nice.
I am running the demo in high settings

Edit:
I have now managed to play through the whole demo i think...
Damn its a great game. Exiting moments from time to time, and the ending makes you want to play some more....

More like trying to produce the least ammount the consumer public is still willing to shell out $60 for; maximize profit. A long game wasn't the piont of Crysis anywho as it was more of hey look at all this fancy wrapping paper ain't it cool? Now where's our $60.

The only FPS I've bought in the last two years was S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

I'm just on the cusp of finishing my first ever FPS .. Max Payne 2 ... last night (this morning) trying to shoot some couplings from a suspended platform thing with a tonne of dynamite being thrown at me .. I would have thought that at 5am after a couple of bottles of wine it would have been easy ... seems not :)
